Our History
Baxter Smith-Milne Limited has arisen through the long term
friendship and working relationship of the two principals Barry
Baxter & Justin Smith-Milne, they have been friends for over 20
years and business associates for over 13.
B P Baxter & Company (the original firm) was formed in 1981
by Barry Baxter. In 2004 Justin Smith-Milne (having
joined the practice in February 1994) was made a
partner. In 2007 Baxter Smith-Milne Limited was founded
and the firm relocated to Northwood.
The names of Baxter and Smith-Milne have a long established and
respected reputation having been local to
Pinner/Northwood and the surrounding area for over 25
years. We have a good deal of respect with H M Revenue &
Customs and over the years have developed excellent alliances
within the local business community which can provide key support
services to our clients, Utilising these contacts
we can offer our clients a complete 'one stop shop'.
We recognise how vital it is to give our clients a good service,
no matter how large or small, and we never forget how important our
clients are and are proud to say that we still have a considerable
number of clients who have been with us since the practice started
in 1981 which is why most of our business comes from referrals from
existing clients.
